Hostels

NSC provides separate hostel facilities for girls and boys. It is facilitated with hygienic food, intensive care, study support, sports and entertainment.

Cafeteria

The college cafeteria serves healthy meals and snacks to students and staff at reasonable prices.

Sports

Sports at NSC, are provided as refreshment to break the students' monotony from regular classes. The college make avail of basket ball, table tennis, badminton to students during the leisure time.

Library

The college provides up-dated and rich library to facilitate the teaching-learning process. It has a wide collection of books, periodicals, videos and CD-ROMs. Students are also facilitated with its materials and e-library.

Computer Lab

The college has two separate well equipped computer labs with unlimited internet facility. Basically students of computer science in +2 program and BSc (CSIT) utilize this lab for their practical and other students for presentations, report writing and downloading reference materials.

Transportation

The college runs a number of buses for easy transportation of students in and around ring road at a very reasonable cost.

Security

NSC has managed twenty four hours security system by reputed, alert and strict security personnel at the college and hostels safeguards personal and institutional well-being.

Health Care

NSC also makes avail of health care and medical emergencies to its students as and when required.

NSC Timing

Class Hours:
Classes run six days a week (Sunday through Friday)

Science Stream:
Morning Shift: 6:15 am to 12:00 noon
Day Shift: 11:00 am to 4:45 pm.

Management Stream:
Morning Shift: 6:15 am to 10:45 am
Day Shift: 11:00 am to 4:45pm.

BSc (CSIT):
Morning Shift: 6:30 to 12:30

Extra Curricular Activites

NSC regularly organizes creative writing competitions among the students of all programs throughout the academic session. Students are mobilized to participate in social awareness development functions, publish monthly bulletins and annual college souvenir. In addition, the college organizes various contests like debates, quizzes, music and singing to groom out their talent and skills.

Industrial Visits

The college has established official links with many business houses in and out of Kathmandu valley so that students can visit and learn about various aspects of operations. These industrial visits and internships help to build up self confidence in students as well as gain practical experience. NSC organizes industrial visits to students of business studies, hotel management and travel and tourism.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Promoting active participation in social events, the college instills a noble concept of social responsibility in the mind of its students. To materialize this concept, the college will encourage its students to lend supportive hands to the needed section in our immediate vicinity and marginal areas of the country.
