Principal's Message

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

My tenure as the Principal of this college began with the establishment of the college. Since then I have been looking forward with both anticipation and excitement at what the future will bring. Over the past 13 years, we have been innovating and developing around our core goal of providing opportunity to all our students to develop the knowledge and skills that enable them to take their rightful place in higher education. In the course of retrospection from this vantage point, it gives me pleasure to assert that almost all the summiteers hitherto have grown intellectually, culturally, aesthetically and spiritually. This strengthens our commitment towards imparting quality education.

Having worked for many years in the field of specific teaching and learning as a teacher, a teacher trainer and an educational entrepreneur, I’m aware that supporting students effectively requires an appreciation of their personal needs and aspirations. At New Summit, we believe that all the students entrusted to our care have multiple talents concealed in them. Our endeavor has always been to nurture them individually so as to realize their potential beyond conventional academic success. We aim to positively influence their lives in such a way that they will always remember the experience of being Summiteers.

Beyond all, with firm commitment to organizational values and goals, and a willingness to focus collective efforts solely on helping the institution to achieve its objectives, I, as the founder principal of New Summit College, proudly announce that New Summit College and Kathmandu Model College (KMC) Educational Network have mutually agreed upon beginning their educational partnership. From now onwards, New Summit will function under the umbrella of KMC Educational Network, like many other independent institutions, without losing its individual identity. It is not a matter of buying or selling an institution; nor is it like merging one institution to another. It is a matter of going along for the betterment of all the institutions involved, with collective efforts in academic and administrative fields with an intention to set up our identity in the global scenario.
